What we see in Little Rock
In Hillcrest and the Heights we are usually working on older homes with original wood trim, plaster in places, and the kind of settlement cracking that comes with a century of Arkansas clay soil moving under a foundation. Those houses need patience and the right primers, not speed. Out toward Chenal Valley and west Little Rock the work is mostly newer construction with large open great rooms, high ceilings and a lot of west-facing glass, which means any imperfection in a wall finish is going to be lit up every afternoon. Midtown, Capitol View and Stifft Station sit somewhere between the two.
